WESTMAN CAFE OPENS AT WARD VILLAGE®
New café at Kōʻula Shops soft opens with elevated brunch experience, specialty coffee and espresso and curated wines
HONOLULU (April 27, 2026) – Ward Village®, the award-winning destination in the heart of Honolulu to live, shop, dine and explore, welcomes Westman Cafe to Kōʻula Shops, marking the café’s second location. The modern eatery specializes in elevated brunch dishes and custom coffee and espresso beverages.

“Westman Cafe enhances our community's food and beverage scene with its modern design and fresh menu,” said Taylor Herring, General Manager of Ward Village. “This new addition reflects our goal of working with tenants who contribute to the neighborhood’s sense of place, giving people more choice in how they eat, connect, and experience Ward Village.”
The 1,779-square-foot space, designed in collaboration with WRNS Studio, reflects elements of Westman Cafe’s original Beach Walk location. The café currently offers a welcoming setting for brunch and casual daytime dining, with plans to introduce a neighborhood bistro experience in the evenings. Using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, signature dishes include Soufflé Pancakes and Wagyu Loco Moco, with additional new menu items planned. Guests can also enjoy Kona coffee and an espresso roasted exclusively for Westman Cafe by Manoa Chocolate, complemented by a curated wine selection.

“Ward Village offers the right environment for Westman Cafe’s new home, with steady foot traffic, a mix of residents and visitors and a community that values beautiful design and local products,” said Ryan Ko, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Westman Group. “Opening here allows us to reach more people, create local jobs and offer a space that encourages connection over quality food and coffee.”
Beyond its culinary offerings, Westman Group, parent company of Westman Cafe, prioritizes employee training and professional advancement. Through mentorship and skill development, Westman Group actively supports local workforce growth and economic opportunity in Hawai‘i.
Westman Cafe at Ward Village is currently open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with plans to expand into afternoon snack offerings and a dinner service in the future.
