Events and activations celebrate families, community giving, and local entertainment
HONOLULU, HI – Throughout the months of November and December, Ward Village® welcomes kamaʻāina and visitors to celebrate the holidays with a variety of events and activities in its award-winning 60-acre master planned community in the heart of Honolulu. This year sees the return of beloved traditions like the Aloha Friday Holiday Music Series, Elf Scavenger Hunt, and Senior Giving Tree in its 29th year of dedicating gifts for Hawaiʻi’s kūpuna.

Aloha Friday Holiday Music Series (Dec. 5, 12 & 19)
Get into the rhythm of the holidays with Ward Village’s Aloha Friday Holiday Music Series. Enjoy live performances by local favorites including Alx Kawakami, Ei Nei, Kawika Kahiapo, Bobby Moderow Jr., Tiara Gomes and Kalaʻe Camarillo, set to festive lights and holiday cheer in the South Shore Market Courtyard. First Saturday at South Shore Market (Dec. 6)
Kick off the holiday season at Ward Village’s December First Saturday. Head to the South Shore Market Courtyard to enjoy complimentary treats from Kamitoku Ramen, available starting at 1 p.m. while supplies last.
Holiday Celebration (Dec. 13)
Experience the magic of the season with an evening of festive lights, live music, hot cocoa, holiday treats, and family-friendly activities in the South Shore Market Courtyard from 5 to 7 p.m. All offerings are complimentary while supplies last.
Elf Scavenger Hunt (Dec. 1–15)
The elves are back at Ward Village! Explore the neighborhood to spot these playful holiday visitors hidden in shops, courtyards and festive displays. Capture your finds, share them on social media with #ElvesAtWardVillage and enter for a chance to win a $100 gift card to your favorite store or restaurant. CELEBRATE THE SPIRIT OF GIVING
Gift of Experience (Nov. 1 – 30)
Shop, dine, and play at Ward Village! Customers who spend $200 or more at Ward Village retailers from Nov. 1–30 will receive two complimentary tickets to Consolidated Theatres at Ward. Senior Giving Tree (Nov. 17 - Dec. 8)
The Senior Giving Tree returns to Ward Village, continuing a 29-year tradition of brightening the holidays for kūpuna across Hawai‘i. Visit Logos Bookstore, Whole Foods Market or T.J. Maxx to select an ornament featuring a heartfelt “wish” from a local senior in need. Presented in partnership with Catholic Charities Hawai‘i, the program has fulfilled more than 12,000 wishes and continues to grow through the generosity of the community. View more details here.
