STRETCHLAB OPENS AT WARD VILLAGE
New studio opens Oct. 15 at Kō‘ula Shops, offering personalized stretch routines
HONOLULU (Oct. 15, 2024) – Ward Village®’s award-winning neighborhood welcomes StretchLab, a specialized studio offering one-on-one assisted stretching, to Kō‘ula Shops. The new Ward Village location will be the largest StretchLab studio on the island, designed to enhance comfort and provide an exceptional experience for clients seeking to improve their flexibility, mobility and overall wellness.
“Our members know the importance of taking care of their bodies and overall wellness,” said Adam Bogucki, Hawai‘i Area Manager for Stretch Lab. “Being part of Ward Village allows us to bring our innovative wellness solutions to a community that values health, making it a natural fit for our growth.”
Designed by PSA Architects in collaboration with Dave Foster Builders, the new 1,706-square-foot studio is tailored to optimize space and comfort, creating a welcoming environment. Every “body” can benefit from the personalized sessions guided by certified flexologists, who use techniques like proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) to relieve tension, improve flexibility and reduce the risk of injury. The studio features ten benches, a retail space with the latest wellness offerings, and Normatec compression devices. StretchLab’s proprietary MAPS body assessment technology is also available, analyzing over 2,000 points on the body to assess mobility, muscle activation, posture and symmetry.
“StretchLab’s unique approach to stretching offers the community another way to achieve relaxation and recovery,” said Taylor Herring, General Manager of Ward Village. “Ward Village is a place where both kama‘āina and visitors can take a break from their busy lives and focus on their physical wellness, relieving the stressors of everyday life.”
StretchLab will host a soft opening on Oct. 15, 2024. The grand opening event will be held later this year and feature local vendors, special giveaways and the opportunity to enjoy special founding member rates and deals on introductory stretches.
StretchLab will be open daily during the following hours:

About Ward Village®
Ward Village is a 60-acre master planned community in the heart of Honolulu, located between downtown and Waikīkī. Honoring the distinct history of its land, Ward Village is at the forefront of sustainable community development—integrating striking architecture, culture and arts, and public open space. At full buildout, the community will include thousands of homes and approximately one million square feet of unique retail in what Architectural Digest named “Best Planned Community in the United States.” As a result of strong demand for new housing in urban Honolulu, Ward Village quickly sold out its first seven mixed-use residential towers—Waiea®, Anaha®, Ae‘o, Ke Kilohana®, ʻAʻaliʻi®, Kō‘ula®, and Victoria Place®—transforming the popular shopping and dining district into a thriving mixed-use neighborhood that offers ocean views and open space, including its newest outdoor gathering place, Victoria Ward Park. New residential buildings in development or under construction include Victoria Place, Ulana Ward Village®, The Park Ward Village®, and Kalae. Most recently approved by the Hawai‘i Community Development Authority (HCDA), The Launiu Ward Village will be the latest mixed-use development that will join the neighborhood.
Ward Village, a LEED-ND Platinum-certified master planned community part of the Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. portfolio, demonstrates its commitment to responsible, mixed-use development by investing in public benefits and amenities for Honolulu’s urban community.
