STRAITS OPENS AT WARD VILLAGE
Popular San Francisco staple will serve up sophisticated Asian fare at its first Hawai‘i location in Ward Entertainment Center
HONOLULU (November 13, 2023) – Ward Village®, the award-winning destination in the heart of Honolulu to live, shop, dine and explore, welcomed Straits to the neighborhood on Nov. 10. Founded in 1987 in San Francisco on Geary Boulevard, Straits summons influence from Singapore's diverse culinary melting pot and captures flavors of Malaysian, Indonesian, Chinese, Indian, and Nonya cuisine. Straits Hawai‘i will be the restaurant’s first location in the islands, including kama‘āina talent with Executive Chef Reid Matsumura and General Manager and Partner Pomaikai Shishido.
