Paradise Poke owners introduce new casual sushi restaurant concept
HONOLULU, HI (Nov. 29, 2023) – Ward Village®, the award-winning destination in the heart of Honolulu to live, shop, dine and explore, welcomes Nori Bar at Kō‘ula for its soft opening on Nov. 30, 2023. Nori Bar was born from a deep passion for sushi and a desire to create a casual sushi experience. The 923-square-foot space, designed by WANDER X WANDER, combines the elegance of sushi with the comfort of casual dining, offering a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

At Nori Bar, guests can dine in or opt for takeout sushi boxes for lunch or dinner. The menu features a variety of specialized hand rolls such as the local Ahi trio, a combination of ahi, spicy ahi and torotaku. Following the three essential components of exceptional sushi, the establishment is committed to offering expert selection and preparation of seafood and fluffy shari (sushi rice) and the use of crisp, high-quality nori from Japan. As part of its commitment to use local ingredients whenever possible, Nori Bar sources fish daily from Fresh Island Fish in Honolulu.

Nori Bar’s soft opening hours will be Sunday – Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday from 5 to 11 p.m. through December until the grand opening, after which the restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. As part of the grand opening, Nori Bar will provide special promotional prices on takeout boxes.
