JANA LAM RELOCATES STOREFRONT TO SOUTH SHORE MARKET
Lovers of local designer’s collection of lifestyle products and accessories can visit her new Ward Village location to shop the latest offerings

HONOLULU – Jana Lam’s one-of-a-kind, hand-printed and sewn apparel and home accessories can now be found in a new spot in South Shore Market at Ward Village®, a one-of-a-kind destination to live, shop, dine and explore. Originally located in Pohukaina Center, Jana Lam Hawaiʻi has expanded, moving into the former Holoholo Market space.

“Jana’s art lives throughout Ward Village, from her storefront locations to her involvement in our community initiatives like the Little Free Diverse Library she designed last year,” said Jeff Chen, Senior General Manager of Ward Village. “Jana’s growth throughout our neighborhood has allowed her loyal fan base a front row seat to her evolution.”
Lam’s deep love of textile and interior design is evident in her new South Shore Market space, and customers can still shop the designer’s signature handmade backpacks, totes, beach wraps and art prints. Shoppers can also enjoy new offerings, including patterns from Lam’s Coco Moon collaboration, unique wrapping paper designs and a new bag design – satchels.

“We are so excited to continue to grow as a brand and to be joining all the other awesome vendors in South Shore Market,” said Lam. “I hope our “Jana Lam Pop” will bring an extra dose of rainbows, sunshine and smiles to the Ward Village Community.”
While shoppers visiting the storefront aren’t able to view production, a TV display guides and educates customers through the entire handcrafted process. The new Jana Lam Hawaiʻi space is the central hub of the design studio, complete with an office and meeting space for clients.
Born and raised in Honolulu, Lam’s products evoke an endless summer. Her style is focused on color, movement and fun, with each piece designed to share aloha. Growing up surrounded by fabric and a mother who would sew, Lam and her team are committed to creating one-of-a-kind pieces and wearable art celebrating Hawaiʻi.
Jana Lam Hawaiʻi is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The addition of the retail space is the latest in a growing catalog of new retail and restaurant spaces at Ward Village, including Pizza Dadi, Sugarlina Bakeshop, Taqueria El Gallo Rosa, Shop Keiko, and Holey Grail. About Ward Village®
Ward Village is a 60-acre master-planned community by The Howard Hughes Corporation® in the heart of Honolulu, located between downtown and Waikīkī. Honoring the distinct history of its land, Ward Village is at the forefront of sustainable community development – integrating striking architecture, culture and arts, and public open space. At full build-out, the community will include approximately one million square feet of unique retail and thousands of homes, in what Architectural Digest named “Best Planned Community in the United States.”
As a result of strong demand for new housing in urban Honolulu, Ward Village is quickly approaching sellout of its first five mixed-use residential towers — Waiea®, Anaha®, Ae‘o®, Ke Kilohana®, and ʻAʻaliʻi® — transforming the popular shopping and dining district into a thriving urban neighborhood that offers ocean views and open space, including its newest outdoor gathering place, Victoria Ward Park. New residential buildings in development or under construction include Kō‘ula and Victoria Place. Since launching public sales in July 2021, The Park Ward Village has become the fastest-selling market tower in the history of Ward Village. Approved by the Hawaiʻi Community Development Authority (HCDA) in 2021, The Park Ward Village and Ulana Ward Village will be the newest mixed-use developments to join the neighborhood.
As a LEED-ND Platinum-certified master planned community, Ward Village demonstrates its commitment to responsible, mixed use development by investing in public benefits and amenities for Honolulu’s urban community. For more information, visitwww.wardvillage.com.
