CINO OPENS IN ‘A‘ALI‘I AT WARD VILLAGE ON SEPTEMBER 27
Local restaurateurs transform locally sourced ingredients, capturing the heart of Italy and the spirit of Hawaiʻi

HONOLULU – Ward Village®, the award-winning destination in the heart of Honolulu to live, shop, dine and explore, welcomes guests to say ciao to Cino, the newest restaurant to join the neighborhood. Cino, the fourth concept by local restaurateurs Henry Yoon and Jin Hong, founders of Duck Butt, DB Grill and Mad Bene, will offer a fusion of modern Italian cuisine that highlights local seafood and fresh produce. The duo’s Italian Chophouse & Crudo Bar, under the direction of Executive Chef Arnold Corpuz, will be located in a newly created space in ‘A‘ali‘i overlooking Victoria Ward Park.
“Cino brings a fresh perspective and unique concept that will thrive within Ward Village," said Taylor Herring, General Manager of Ward Village. “As one of the first parkside dining options in the neighborhood, the restaurant will offer culinary excellence in a one-of-a-kind setting.”
Yoon and Hong engaged Executive Chef Arnold Corpuz, a local chef who spent 20 years honing his skills in culinary destinations, including Portland and Las Vegas. Patrons can expect a menu with a wide variety of offerings, ranging from freshly prepared crudos and housemade pastas to the finest cuts of steak.

“We’re crafting a creative menu that marries local flavors with modern Italian cuisine,” said Executive Chef Arnold Corpuz. “I’m ready to return home and feel grateful to work with the team at Cino to deliver an amazing culinary experience.”
Cino will initially focus on dinner service for the first month or two, with plans to expand to accommodate weekend brunch. Hours at opening will be 5-9 p.m., Sunday-Thursday and 5-11 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

About Ward Village®
Ward Village is a 60-acre master planned community by Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. in the heart of Honolulu, located between downtown and Waikīkī. Honoring the distinct history of its land, Ward Village is at the forefront of sustainable community development—integrating striking architecture, culture and arts, and public open space. At full buildout, the community will include thousands of homes and approximately one million square feet of unique retail in what Architectural Digest named “Best Planned Community in the United States.”
As a result of strong demand for new housing in urban Honolulu, Ward Village is quickly approaching sellout of its first six mixed-use residential towers—Waiea®, Anaha®, Ae‘o®, Ke Kilohana®, ʻAʻaliʻi® and Kō‘ula® transforming the popular shopping and dining district into a thriving urban neighborhood that offers ocean views and open space, including its newest outdoor gathering place, Victoria Ward Park. New residential buildings in development or under construction include Victoria Place® and Kalae®. Since launching public sales in July 2021, The Park Ward Village® has become the fastest-selling market tower in the history of Ward Village. Approved by the Hawaiʻi Community Development Authority (HCDA) in 2021, The Park Ward Village® and Ulana Ward Village® will be the newest mixed-use developments to join the neighborhood.
As a LEED-ND Platinum-certified master planned community, Ward Village demonstrates its commitment to responsible, mixed-use development by investing in public benefits and amenities for Honolulu’s urban community. For more information, visit http://www.wardvillage.com/.
